Senior's Bus Pass

Can I get a bus pass at 60? (I'm female, if that's relevant). Some sites say yes. Gov. site says you have to be claiming your state pension

mine did years ago, thats how i knew about it, classed as a disability here. Now i have one as i have reached my 66 pension age.
