Dogs Marking
5 Answers
I'm am renting a holiday home at Christmas (hopefully) I am taking my dog, it is dog friendly, but I am a bit worried about him marking, if he can smell other dogs, that have stayed there, is there anything I can buy/do to stop this.

He was very easy to house train, wees in the garden in an area he’s been trained to, is crate trained so knows and loves his safe space (we always take his crate with us) and generally just loves being with us.
So to answer your question, I’m sorry, I don’t have an answer.

^^^ Obviously we take his bed, bowls etc., so all these are familiar but I always also take a rug which I can put over whichever bit of the cottage floor (or chair) he may find friendly. It may be useful to use a couple of leaves of newspaper underneath the dog-bowls. Easy to tidy away and also means his food does not have any other smells near it. Hope this helps.
