....Woolacombe was great! Fantastic weather last week. Went to Lundy for a day trip but wasn't really impressed. It's a nice place for sure but you need more than just 3 hours to see it. We walked up the steep hill from the harbour. By the time we got to the top I was absolutely knackered. Saw very little wildlife; a few seals bobbing about near the harbour and that was it. If you want to see the Puffins, you've got to abseil down the cliff face, virtually. However, at least I can say I've been, but I won't be going again. Apart from that, everythin's fine thanks! Hope you are too! :o)

You need binoculars for the puffins on that cliff. If you get the boat from Bideford you get a lot longer on the island than you do from Ilfracombe. We had 4 pods of dolphins with us last time I came back from there but that's not usual.
