It's the Winter Olympics ... Yaaaa ... (fizzles out)
But it's in China. And maybe we shouldn't be there (heartbreaking for the athletes, I know).
Two weeks, once again glorifying that ghastly, abusive regime. Yeah sure, a few "token" protests ... but not really.
Maybe the sporting world should refuse to go to China. And Qatar, come to think of it.
And yet ... I LOVE the Winter Olympics SO MUCH.
I feel conflicted.

I think Ken was alluding to the fact that Newcastle are now a hugely wealthy club, and can afford to become the next Chelsea, or Man City ...
But their new owners have a questionable track record when it come to things like human rights ... gender equality ... not murdering journalists ...
