I am wondering if lady-janine will be putting out bunting for her sheep and cows ;)

The supermarkets are full of garden furniture and bbq's right now so I expect there will be a dearth of chicken, sausages and beefburgers any time soon.

We’re going to a big weekend bash with friends - and we’re taking the dogs complete with their Union Jack bandanas!

I have got a great t shirt with a view from The Mall going towards The Wedding Cake with the avenue lined with Union Flags. I shall enjoy wearing that on the day. Unfortunately we continue to self-isolate so no parties as such but I was thinking I might bake a cake for the day.

Our village is doing an open-air 'street party' in the school car-park, but we don't feel up to that - lugging tables etc. - with kids races and events on the Saturday. We are going to a village B-B-Q at the pub on Sunday, instead.
