Do you sleep North South, or East West or West East etc? Or do you neither know nor care?

I slept really well in a hotel recently but really badly at a friend's house. I felt disorientated and wondered if it was anything to do with having head north or east or any which way!

south to north.....my 'compass' oriented on magnetic north
I'm such a restless sleeper I probably hit every direction. I have heard that it matters though, Maydup.
For some reason, it's been said to sleep with head facing north for a better sleep.
West East used to be North South, doesn't seem to make any difference to me.
I guess the strength of our nightcaps makes a difference too, Tony. ;-)
I sleep the way that I positioned my bed (simply because it fitted my furniture arrangement best) when I moved in here 31 years ago. That's with my head at the south and my feet to the north. However, if I feel that I can't get to sleep for some reason, I'll sometimes move my pillow to the other end of the bed and reverse the direction.
I sleep N/S and always have here*...and sleep pretty well

* except for a few months a year or so ago when I slept in the spare room...W/E...still slept well

Maybe its more to do with what you're used to? I sleep head to North at home which feels most natural.. Head to south feels a bit downhill!
