My wife’s cousin is here visiting. She was married in India but her husband was from USA and he never sent her the papers to come to the USA. He will also not divorce her as he needs to come to India and he will not. What can my cousin do.
She is now here visiting in the UK. She is also a qualified nurse. She wants to settle down in life but can’t until she gets a divorce

Why can't she just forget about him and get on with her own life?

I doubt anybody here knows very much about divorce laws in India especially as the different religious laws are relevant.
She should seek advice from a lawyer in India

I think she should just get on with her life and hope, eventually, he's the one wanting a divorce.
