Fyi Passport Renewal

Just thought I'd mention, if you are applying for a passport renewal on line, you upload a new photo, fill in the form, pays your money and send off your old passport. 3 weeks and a day later, I have received my new one, but now you sign it when you receive it...your signature isn't printed on like the old ones. I was quite surprised too, that since QE2 passed away more than 8 months ago, it still says "Her Britannic Majesty..." in the blurb at the front. They must have a big stock of blank passports to get rid of!

Me too, and all the way to Spain. 3 weeks. I was very nervous after reading all the horror stories as we have a trip to Japan planned, but no problem.
