Youth employment is chronic there. All they have is olives, fish and Seat(owned by VAG). The only thing that keeps them floating is the Tourist trade. Kind of shot themselves in the foot really. Malta here I come. Hasta la vista baby

Can never ever understand why so many Brits want to keep on leaving their own Country .Why not holiday at home, there are plenty of nice beaches , Blackpool Weston supermud etc . spend you money at home Britain need your money.
I went to Fuerteventure once. Took one look out of the aircraft window before we had landed and decided I already wanted to go home. A barren wasteland. Had to endure 2 weeks of the place - never again. I don't know why anyone wants a Spanish beach holiday TBH
Hang on, why aren't you blaming Brexit for this.
Same applies to Portugal boarder force striking at airports

SEF airport strikes
As reported in our previous mailing, the SEF inspectors’ Union has issued two pre-warnings about strikes in airports from the 27th of May. One for Lisbon airport and the other for Faro, Porto and Madeira airports. These strikes will affect the border control at the airports and may lead to longer waiting time to exit the airport.

Following strike dates have been announced:

Lisbon airport: 27th to 29th of May, 3rd to 5th of June, 10th to 12th of June, 17th to 19th of June, 24th to 26th of June – always between 05h00-10h00

Faro, Porto and Madeira airports: 29th of May, 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th of June – the entire day
easyJet crew members in Portugal started their five-day strike in May and June today. The strike will cover all flights carried out by easyJet as well as other services to which cabin crew members are assigned. The dates are 26th, 28th and 30th of May and 1st and 3rd of June. Cancelled flights will be reimbursed. There is no news on the easyJet website (yet), but you can check your flights HERE.

Transavia cancels flights this summer
Due to a shortage of aircrafts, Transavia is changing or cancelling flights. On the links below you will find an overview of cancelled flights. Some are from or to Porto, Lisbon and Faro. You will find the links for June: HERE and July and August: HERE.

I could explain it to you in simple, juvenile terms but I can't help you understand it as I have doubts that you possess the simple intellect.
