Emmerdale is the only soap I watch regularly, but this past couple of weeks the storylines have been pathetic and unbelievable. Laurel being kidnapped and tied to the bed - how did he manage to do that without her struggling? Why didn't she break a window when she escaped th first time? And wouldn't you have to have some vaccinations before flying to India? Not just book a ticket and go the same day? Dan and Amelia running off to Ireland and Cain getting tickets for them within a short time - surely if he is awaiting trial they would be watching him?

I stopped watching when the plane crash wiped out half the cast.
...not to mention the two village-resident doctors and nurse who are never there to see any patients...in fact, most of the residents spend their time in the coffee shop or just aimlessly walking round the village, bumping into each other.
I blame the scriptwriters. I think they're a couple of recent school leavers on a job creation scheme. They've no idea of the real world!

But I suppose if Emmerdale was based around my life, there wouldn't be many viewers left.

Did Laurel not go to the toilet for two days?
I’ve just watched it Lankeela and that is exactly what I said about Laurel!
And Cain producing ferry tickets in an official Irish Ferries folder overnight!
I very seldom watch but when I saw Laurel tied to the bed (whatever reason) - put me in mind of Misery lOL
Don't forget the reappearance (twice) of those temporary roadworks/lights !
