You need to remember that travel insurance costs a LOT more after Covid than it did before because everyone now wants insurers to include cover for all of the possible effects of pandemics in their policies.

It doesn't really make much difference who you book with - it depends who underwrites their insurance and how good the company are when something goes wrong. Just make sure you look at the details.

All Clear Travel Insurance was recommended to me by a friend, I rang them and spoke directly to an agent who talked me through the process, so much better than trying to do it online and being treated like a robot, the number is 0800 640 4871, very happy with the cost and terms of my insurance, I am 75 years old with existing medical conditions which I declared, good luck.
