What an amazing miracle, all passengers escape blazing airliner. Wow!

Very sad about the other aircraft though.

Thanks for the heads-up retro, I missed the other post. Not surprising my search failed to find it, with such a silly title.

You know what they say about the early bird though, Canary.

LOL

Having a logical spat with Naomi - if 5 are dead in the other aircraft then it shows the pre flight dance isnt that good

actually I thought this was pre flight control checks. In medicine " these dont have the utility it was thought they once had"

( an anaesthetist can never walk into an operating theatre and say "I have never seen this anaesthetic machine before: there fore this list is cancelled" and walk out) - very difficult to get this over to a civil servant.....

Could of been a case of lack of communication betwixt Ground Traffic controller in the tower and air traffic controller whilst aircraft is landing in the dark. Total speculation and we know the black boxes will eventually tell all.

I was amazed to see the passengers escaped, they must have been very scared.

How sad though about the other passengers on the plane that was carrying supplies to help the victims of the earthquake.

^ and the two dogs in the hold😥

According to transcripts released today the Coastguard aircraft was only given permission to process to the staging area short of the runway.

My post about 5 deaths refutes the idea of 'obviously totally successful' . To point out the obvious - if 5 have died, success is the wrong word.

has been removed for reasons only known to the deleter. Long live logic and free speech on AB
