Hi There

I'm visiting elderly family in London, early spring and will take my little girl who will have just turned 2yrs old. Is there anywhere exciting I can bring her?

I checked up Lego Land, but she is too young for it. Your sugestions would be great.

The London Aquarium or the old favourite London Zoo are a couple of places that keep the little ones amused for a couple of hours ....(usually).
she might just enjoy a ride on the top deck of a bus, looking down at the world
How about a riverboat trip? Or you can get a canal boat from Camden Lock which even goes to the zoo, so you can combine the two. Or if you're prepared to spend a lot of money take her to Hamleys!
Ooh, and there's the Rainforest Cafe at Piccadilly Circus, with moving animals, and of course a shop!

When that age, my daughter loved travelling on the top deck of a bus, feeding the ducks in Green Park/St.Jame's Park, feeding the pigeons in Trafalgar Square (not sure whether you are allowed to do that these days!!) and, most strange, absolutely loved the British Museum.

Wherever possible always use the bus rather than the tube. Your daughter may be a little bit young for the London Eye but might be worth a thought.

If the elderly relatives can do stairs the rainforest cafe in picadilly circus is a good choice for all of you. If you have a car you can walk a short way with the oldies from a car park in Denman Street, and if you eat and get the ticket validated it makes the car park cheaper..... but it is in the congestion charging zone.
