My daughter's going to Namibia in June on a volunteer programme. Does anyone out there know what the weather will be like then? She's been told that it will be cooler than usual but warmer than we're used to. Does this mean t-shirt warm, cool nights or what? Has anyone any experience of Namibia? Thanks.

sorry-this is on the wrong section....duh!!! Can anyone help me anyway?
The temperature varies between 20 and 30 degrees. In June, I would expect it to be nearer to the 20 (about 68 Fahrenheit), as Namibia is south of the equator. At night, it may drop to around 6 to 10 degrees. Your daughter may well be comfortable in t-shirts, especially if she is working, but will need something to slip on when she feels a bit cooler and will need something warm in the evening. This site gives a bit more detail http://www.uyaphi.com/namibia/weather.htm

I dont understand why the travel section is the wrong place for a question about travelling to Namibia.
