Answering the OP, no! Nothing to do with him being a Kennedy, simply that in the opinion of just about every medical expert, he is totally unqualified and unsuitable for the position.

Unsure why it necessarily is good or bad that some rich US dynasty still has someone meddling in politics. America is worse than us for ensuring only the rich & powerful gets a crack at the top jobs.

 

In the UK the top job is embarrassingly reserved for one privileged family but at least that is now mostly just decoration. Nevertheless it's still more likely those whose parents could afford top private/public school places who make the contacts which lift them to high office. Well, at least when considering the political right.
