Brighton Hotels
Has anyone tried to book a Saturday night hotel room in Brighton lately?
Don't bother it's nigh on impossible, If you can get one they'll charge the Earth and most have a minimum 2 night stay?

Good stuff all63b. Nice to have a response on a reply - and sounds like you got the bargain.
I think Brightons problem is demand is so high they just crank up the rates and not necessarily the service or facilities. I have to say I've not stayed in Brighton for ages now, but if you fancy a change, look at www.farmstay.co.uk and they have a few options pretty close that are really good value and make a nice change from town centre lodging.
Have a nice break!
