my friend wants to take her boyfriend on a romantic weekend - something like a log cabin in a quiet rural area ?? any suggestions ??

Anyone attempting to build a log cabin in one of our National Parks would probably give the planners heart attacks! They might be traditional in parts of Canada and the US but they're certainly not so in the areas which you've mentioned!

if they are well funded i have been to central parks. Log cabin and beautiful forests, avoid the school holidays for a true romantic retreat- not cheap.
