There's an advert currently being played for Singapore Airline flights to Australia. The advert goes on about how good australia is blah blah blah... At the end it says "by the way, we've got our own Henley Regatta...... only its on dry land". I don't get it. What is that supposed to mean?

In Alice Springs they have a regatta in the dry bed of the River Todd. They pick up the boats and run with them.

Known locally as Henley-on-Todd
