Forget the pills. Crystallized ginger (from any health food shop) works far better.

Chris

(PS: If you insist on taking pills - or if you just can't stand ginger! - speak to the pharmacist at your local chemist's shop. He/she will know far more about what's currently available than anyone else, including your GP).

thanks for reply on travel pills, will do as you said. cheers.
Avomine
I do not get a good result from tablets. However I use accupressure bands and they are brilliant.
Agree with goldfish1, Avomine every time. It took me across the Bay of Biscay in really rough seas!
Last time I crossed the Irish Sea and didn't feed the fish was 'cos I wore Sea Bands on my wrists (like sense4all suggests). You may look a prat if you have short sleeves but it's better than spraying the deck with diced carrots.
I can get travel sick everythwere, including the Channel Tunnel but find a split of champagne, or other really sparkling wine, sipped very slowly, keeps everything where it ought to be. Will now try the crystalized ginger - it's cheaper !

I get travel sick everywhere, even the Channel Tunnel but a split of champagne, sipped very slowly when needed, keeps everything where it ought to be ! will now try the crystalized ginger - it's a lot cheaper !!
