has anyone got an opinion on the best value method of gaining foreign currency whilst on holiday?

We are going to ibiza in the summer and we're not sure whether to take cash (pounds or euros), travellers cheques (pounds or euros) or take euros out of cash machines whilst in ibiza (our bank does not charge for foreign withdrawls!).

Thanks

Your debit card in a cash machine for certain.

Even if your bank charges, the cost is still less than the worse exchange rate that you get buying TCs or cash.

Take some cash along as an emergency backup but plan to bring them home.
