Hi! i'm going to malta in june and i'm staying at the buggibba complex aptms.as anyone stayed there recently?i've heard a few different opinions and i'm a bit worried ..is it nice?is it clean?thanks!

Well I have stayed there - last June and I am afraid I was totally disgusted with the place. Filthy, stinking, dirty and run down. You cannot see the bottom of the pool the water is so dirty (maybe due to the staff when pressure wahing the patio washing the dirty water into the pool). Rooms are dark, dirty, furniture is falling apart and filthy and the whole place should be closed down and bulldozed.

Sorry to be negative but that's how it was - four out of five of us (including my 18 month old son) all spent the best part of the week in bed with sickness and diarrhea caught from the pool we believe.

Malta itself I found to be dirty, lazy, crowded and expensive - you can sit in a bar or reataurant for an hour before staff will even acknowledge you let alone get you a menu or take an order.

I'll never visit Malta again and I certainly hope if I ever have to that Bugibba HC is demolished beforehand.
