At 6 months you will be getting to the point that travel Insurance will not cover you after 26 weeks, i think it's common practice. There will be considerations also because of vaccinations. I am 6 months now and have just returned from Las Vegas and believe me it was exhausting, the flight and the genreal travelling. Hope it all goes well.
You will definitely need a letter from your doctor to say that you are OK to travel, AND you need to check with the airline, because some won't even take you if you do have that letter.
I was flying when I was five months pregnant, and even now at 8 I would feel fit to do it.
Been on a 10 hour bus trip twice three weeks ago, plane could not possibly be worse.
I suppose additionally it will depend on what you feel like.
