passport expiry

im going to greece on 26th june this yr for a week but my passport expires on the 10th oct this yr!will i need to renew it before i go?

No. You can visit any EU country up to the expiry date of your passport - there's none of that 6 months validity requirement as with some foriegn countries.

I think though that you can renew your passport when there are less than 6 months on it and they add the 6 months to your new passport. Worth checking at the passport office.
