I'm trying to book a holiday for my parents this summer. A friend told me about a travel company that organised holidays specifically for the Indian community. I've completely forgotten what they are called. But I was hoping someone on here could suggest some travel agents or companies who spefically book holidays, such as cruises for the Indian community. The reason i'm asking for this specifically is because my parents are not very confident with their English and I think they will be more comfortable and confident on holiday if they were with other Indian tourists.

Any suggestions would be most grateful.

no i am sorry but i dont have an answer to your question.
shortlilly, i understand your concerns. I have recently booked a holiday for my grandparents and was also apprehensive about booking them a holiday where there were not many indian speaking tour guides or other indian families they could talk to. Eventually, i was told that i should contact the local community centres, where i discovered that they usually organised day trips and holidays, for elderly indian couples, indian womens' dinner and dance etc.......might i suggest you ask there.

Best of luck!!!!
Try a query on the forum here: http://www.ukasian.co.uk/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi or call the Indian High Commission and ask for any relevant contacts - they should have details of someone operating the service you want. http://www.hcilondon.net/
