Spanish Smoking Ban
Does anyone know if the Spanish ban on smoking in public places, applies in Tenerife? (I hope it does)

I was in Tenerife in March and the ruling is no smoking indoors/establishments that serve food and that allow kids they did go for an all out ban but there was a riot so this is the Spanish Gov'ts compromise i guess. I'm a non smoker and i found it not too bad, There is no smoking in airports etc like here in Scotland and soon to be England.
