Do British railway companies still employ cats to catch vermin?

The rail company I used to work for just employed a firm of pest controllers to periodically top up the supplies of poisoned bait. I would think that this technique would be common to all train operating companies. (Cats probably wouldn't survive very long in the former BR Southern Region because most of the lines are electrified on the 'third rail' principle This would result in the electrocution of any cat which came into contact with the power supply).
