going to lake buena vista, orlando, fl. next sept. 07.( i know im well in advance). anyone got any tips or websites that i can visit to help me plan for the hoilday, especially on what to take with me? going with my 2 year old son as well!!

Check out www.mouseplanet.com for ideas, also www.allearsnet.com, which is especially useful for info on food, it has up-to-date menus for all WDW food places.

I've just returned from Orlando, and found 2 books to be invaluable...Birnbaums Walt Disney World has great information on all things Disney, and Brit's Guide to Orlando by Simon Veness covers pretty much everything you need to know. Both books are rewritten every year, but things don't change too quickly so you could pick up a used 'out of date' copy cheaply somewhere like amazon if you don't want to shell out too much.

We came back 2 weeks ago. We went with my son and daughter-in-law and 7year old grandaughter. We had a great time. You don't need a lot of smart clothes, more shorts and t-shirts, depending on your accomadation really. We were in a villa so we did eat out every night but Americans don't dress up like we do. do take your little one some good suncream, sun hat etc. because it was 90 degrees when we were there. Buy a bottle with fan attached at a supermarket out there and you can spray yourselves to keep cool. Don't buy this in Disney as they are double what you pay in Supermarket. We got on in a Publix super....

You need to get yourself a copy of The Brits Guide To Orlando and Walt Disney World. I got one last year and found it invaluable for my first visit to Florida. You may want to wait a bit until the 2007 edition comes out though.
