Nokia on Vodafone contract - use in barbados??

In 3 weeks I will be going to Barbados for my honeymoon. I have a nokia 6230i on a Vodafone contract. Am I able to use this in barbados? who do I go aout setting it up for use in Barbados??

In the settings is says Operator Selection - "Automatic" not sure if this makes a difference??

best bet is to phone voda customer services.
You should be ok automatically, but you may need roaming turned on. Cust serv will tell you call rates, and advise you on their preferred partner network.

Also, you need to check your phone works on same frequency band as barbados, though most nowadays are triband and work everywhere
