Rimini

Any of you ever holidayed in Rimini? If so, what's it like, how much is there to do, what are the hotels and beaches like? How noisy is it at night?

Don't know what it's like now, but I went there whilst hostelling in Italy in 1977. It was rather dull then, no great attractions or nightlife, and each area of the beach was controlled by a hotel who had laid out sunbeds for their guests. Unlike other great places I visited on that trip (Venice, Florence, Pisa, Rome) I never went back. However it may have changed in the last 29 years but somehow I doubt it !
