something to do on sunday

anyone have any ideas where me and my boyfriend could go on sunday. we live west midlands j10 m6 and could travel about 2 hours. we were going to go to the farnbourough air show but its too far and my boyfriend hates alton tower type places. not often i get a sunday off so really dont want to waste it esp if the weather is going to be nice.

You do not say what you like, but have you considered going to a country house and garden.

The National Trust have loads of country houses and gardens near you (including Shugborough Hall). Go to the National Trust web site and search for your local area:

You could also go down the M54 near you to Shrewsbury, a lovely old town, on the bend of a river
