Posting cans of beer to the US from the UK

Need to post a pack of 4 cans of Caffreys to the US (someone living over there is going through withdrawals!)
Would this cause a problem as obviously the cans would be under some pressure in the hold and I don't want them to explode mid flight!!

It would cause a bigger problem with customs as it is illegal to send alcohol through the post to the US.
