I didnt go swimming with the dolphins because Id had already experienced that in Cancun! Although it is a good place to do it.The Jeep Safari takes you right into the Domincian countryside, where you see how the local dommicians live. They are the nicest, happiest people you will meet considering how they live! you dont get to see many animals apart from local farm animals! Its called Jeep Safari coz you go on these massive Jeeps which take you through the water, its really fun with all the beer, rum, coke etc you can drink! The hotels are used to converting dollars into pesos and vice versa so I shoudnt worry about it that much, take some local Domincian currency in cash and the rest in cheques. Finally be prepared to tip alot! and avoid the porters at the airport! they dont take "NO" for an answer.
