i've a problem. i am from a visa waiver country to USA. i was refuse entry becuse i went to canada to renew my 90 day limit when i was holidaying in USA in dec 2002. after i came back to USA from canAda in mar 2002. i go back home in apr 2002. i didnt knwo thta this is illegal and thus i was refuse entry when i try ot go back to USA in dec 2003. what do i have ot do to get back to USA? Is it a serious offense?

it's hard to tell what they consider serious these days (I hope you weren't trying to smuggle toothpaste in), but given the time periods involved it sounds as if you actually made two trips to the US. Anyway, your best bet would be to go to the nearest US embassy or consulate and explain.
The fact tat you've been refused entry to the USA means that you're no longer eligible for the Visa Waiver Program. However, that doesn't mean that you can't obtain a visa. The visa application process can be time consuming (up to 5 months in some circumstances) and involves paying fees and attending the US embassy for interview but, as long as the previous refusal was merely for a 'technicality', I can see no reason why you'd be refused a visa.
