I also suffer, so she has all my sympathy. I found relaxation tapes helped. Not just on the flight but a week or so beforehand too. Also I found that if I could get a seat near to the front of the flight (I am clostrophobic) that helped me too and I agree no alchol, that made me feel worse. Let the flight attendants know too. They like to know and will do all they can to help. I have managed to fly to Australia, the Far east, and now my daughter has emigrated to Canada, I have to visit there too now (I have a hard life I hear you say ;-) ).
