When bitten, pressing the 'mosi zapper' against the bite and 'zapping' it half a dozen times is supposed to stop the itching and swelling by sending a minute electric charge through the affected area. Do these devices actually work? Thanks

Yes they do. Well on me anyway, I now never go anywhere without one
Yeah, I second that. After a really miserable time in the Dominican Republic, when none of the bite relief creams and lotions seemed to work I bought one. It's amazing. I don't know the principals behind it but never go away without one now. Do be warned that some makes of these don't last for ever and you will need to replace it after a while. Still cheaper and more effective than anti-histamine creams though.
