The abbreviations are easy to find on Google or in a reference book. BigAl has already answered your third question and the second has also been answered.

I mean this nicely, craftie, but I think you've left it a bit late to do this quiz. as it's been out for nearly two months and the answers have to be posted on Friday at the latest. You've asked what must now be about thirty questions from it - as you're perfectly entitled to do - but most of them are not that difficult to find on Google and a trip to your library should provide/would have provided some sort of answer to the rest.

Your many different posts have pushed other questions well off the first page. Doing this only annoys people and you are less likely to get answers to your questions.

being a reletively new member myself...it's not always easy to know the rules..so perhaps we could have a bit more definition for new members...the heading at the top of the page isn't that explicit......
