Can anyone tell me what or who XLA airlines are please?

I imagine Wikipedia has told you all you need to know, but what I know is that they have been voted Europe's favourite charter airline a couple of times I think. They fly to all the usual touristy destinations.... Portugal, Lanzarote, Cyprus, Egypt etc etc.

XLA refers to the airline's designated IATA code.

I flew to Crete with them a couple of years ago and had never heard of them but was pleasantly surprised. Comfortable leather seats and plenty of legroom. Competent cabin crew too.

We've flown with them and we were surprised too. Very nice aircraft and service.

We flew with Excel last month to Gran Canaria and were most impressed. Flight was on time (we flew a week after the severe delays) and the cabin crew were friendly and efficient. The only complaint I could have was the flight time was rescheduled for an hour and a half later, but we weren't told. We found out when we checked the tickets.
