Day trip out of London

Hi everyone,
It's supposed to rain this weekend, but I'd like to take a day trip with my boyfriend somewhere. Any suggestions on something to do even if it's raining? We live in West London if that helps.

How about Oxford? Get yourselves to Hillingdon and there's a frequent cheap coach service - no booking required.

I know you said out of London, but if it is raining why not go to the British Museum in London, or one of the museums in South Kensington.

They are free to get in, and you could probably spend a full day in any one of them.

The 3 museums in south Kensington are all amazing and all within a few yards of each other. You could easily spend a day in each:

Natural History - dinosaurs, whales and all sorts, amazing place

Sign up and be a member of the Hard Rock Casino in Piccadilly Circus. They have a proper casino going on there. You can also listen to great music, have a drink and have a bite to eat, lose or even win some money. They got Roulette tables to slot machines. it's really interesting watching people bet HUGE amounts of money and then losing it all!! Bring a form of ID with you to sign up. They open at 2pm and close at 6am. That might tickle your boyfriend!!! It certainly did mine!!
