Can anyone recommend a good beach destination where you don't get hassled by hawkers (beach vendors) we just want a quiet relaxing holiday (not too expensive) Thank you.
That's strange, I've been to lots of different countries and a fair few beaches but the only time I was bothered was in Agadir in Morocco. Maybe I tend to choose the least populated and parasol free beaches in each country where you don't tend to get bothered.
I'd second that 'ganesh'... been to many euro destinations and never had hawker trouble on the beaches... the only time I've had 'hawker-hassle' was in Thailand... hawkers of coconuts, panpipes and henna tatoos....
i stay in paphos alot and there is lots of secluded beaches, if you rent a car which is pretty cheap out there, you dont have to drive far, polis is about half anhour away which has stunning small beaches very quiet, you drive along the coast so you can spot places as you drive, actually alot of resturants along the coast have there own little spot of beach to use. Worth looking into as Paphos, cyprus is not the most expensive place to stay.
