Central line refund
I have just received 126.92 from the central line refund body, as compensation for the period from January to May when it was out of service. I only used the section between Bank and Chancery Lane (2 stops), whereas a colleague who used Shepherd's Bush to Chancery Lane (10 stops) received only 50. Can anybody explain the discrepancy please, or tell me how much they received? Thanks.

This has caused huge problems for the many, many people who buy their ticket through their company - it means that London Underground have no details on their system about your ticket - rather than contact the applicant to find this out, or ask for a photocopy of your ticket, they seem to think it's acceptable to simply tell you they can't find the info and send you a "goodwill gesture" of 50 quid!! You can appeal though.... expect a wait of another few months though for any kind of reponse!
