call it macaroni

Does anybody out there remember a kids tv prog in the late 70s or early 80s called 'call it macaroni'? It was american and was shown in the mornings during the summer holidays. I think it was a kinda jimll fix it type of thing but i may be wrong. The theme tune was sung to the tune of 'yankee doodle came to town....'. No one i know can remember it and are convinced i dreamt it up. Can anyone shed any light on my plight?

This is ringing very distant bells.....and as soon as I saw "Call it Macaroni" I had Yankee Doodle in my head, then lo and behold, you go and mentioned that too! I don't think you have made this, but I couldn't tell you anything about the content of the programme....Sorry!
