Geneva- expensive or not?

is Geneva an expensive city to eat & drink in? can anyone recommend any nice but chep eateries?

Sorry if I've offended your sensiblities on either of these questions AB Editor (my apologies to Challam for taking up space) but shouldn't the questioners have the option of trying their luck elsewhere if the answerbankers fail to answer their questions? Of course, yes is an answer to the question but I don't think it has quite the detail Challam is looking for.

[This site can be a signpost to others where the information required is too large for us to handle or so specialised that we can put point in the right direction.
