It was over 10 years ago when I went on holiday there,but I loved the place.Its probably changed a lot since then,but if I can give you one recommendation,it would be to take a trip into Venezuela to visit Angel Falls,which is the tallest waterfall in the world.It truly is one of the most spectacular sights I have seen in my life.I also got a chance to trek into the jungle and swim in some amazing waterfalls.If you get the chance,I highly recommend it.

When my parents went about 5 years ago, they enthused about the above too. They also said that there are quite a few children, some able bodied, some not, who beg for money and it can be very harrowing to see them. I am sure you will have a wonderful time!
