I'd like to buy a video of a 1964 Peter Sellers film, and though loads are available in the USA, I haven't been able to find one here. As the duty paid on parcels from the USA has stopped me ever dealing with it again, are there any dealers here who have American stuff?

What is the movie called?
...and does it have to be on VHS? It'd probably be easier to get it on DVD (you can pick up a - admittedly cheapo - player than can be region hacked for under 50 these days).
Presumably you can play NTSC video tapes. Its extremely unlikely a video tape would cost more than the 18GBP limit that kicks in UK duty, 18 GBP would be about 27 USD. Videos in US don't cost that much, so why not order the tape from the US?
Hopefully David will come back on and tells us what the movie is called.
Even if he doesn't, I've yet to fail in finding any film i want, via E Bay, so this should be your first port of call

Nice to see so much enthusiasm- The film's called 'The world of Henry Orient', which I saw on TV 30 years ago and recently discovered online. Loads of videos available in the States, but all sites here just link you to Amazon who link you somewhere else. I can play NTSC as well, but as I said, I had to pay more in delivery than I did for the parcel last time I bought from there, so now I'll stick locally.
Shame your not looking for it on dvd www.playusa.com have it there for 11.99 it says on their site it's free delivery.you would have to have a multi region dvd player to watch it.

Funnily enough, the only way I could get a tape of 'Torpedo' by Havana let's go' , a London band from 1981 was via Japan (as a gift, though). If I ever get a DVD it'll need to record as well, including changing cable channels on the timer. I think that is a long way off! I'm sure my video will turn up eventually, I just thought there may be a UK firm who specialise in imports that I hadn't heard of. Maybe I should plug the market gap- I have an English friend in India who's just started importing UK videos and they can't get enough.
If you go to www.amazon.co.uk and search for your vid under "all products" it will take you to [email protected]. They have 2 copies apparently.
