Antigua
I'm going to Antigua to watch the cricket in April - Is it rough like Jamaica or a nice holiday resort?

Shirley Heights on sunday nights was good, but you did get people offering you drugs as you went into the khazi but they were none to aggressive. We played beach Cricket at Lashing with Richie Richardson (a regular Wednesday fixture) and the staff in all bars were layed back and friendly. The cricket ground itself is so close to the airport that a six could hit a plane and has a most excellent bar and restaurant. All in all it is one of the safest and most pleasant places I've spent a holiday in. Oh and if you get the chance I would recommend a trip to Half Moon beach which is probably one of the most idyllic beaches I have ever seen. The only reservation I would have is that it ain't cheap, stick to locally varieties of spirits and beer in a vain attempt to keep the prices down.
Antigua is the greatest place on earth and everyone is sooo friendly.
dont have too much of t local punch tho it gets you soo drunk but very yummy.
go to the sticky wicket opp the airport, visit shirley heights, visit the museum in st johns and go snorkelling at cades reef if you have time you can even swim with the turtles!!
Ive been twice and am sooo jealous of you - enjoy it!!!
