Me and about 7 other friends are wanting to go on holiday after our exams next year, but we're not quite sure where to go. We don't want to go somewhere with too many clubs, but somewhere with a bit of a nightlife would be good (we are all 18 after all!). There has to be a beach and a pool and most importantly it needs to be cheap! Any ideas anyone?!

Personally I always liked Salou, went in June and it was hot. There are plenty of restaurants and discobars and a few clubs but its not as mad and as rowdy as other more popular resorts. It has a beautiful beach (although crowded in high season). Check out the destination guides on www.thisistravel.co.uk
Greece is always cheap and cheerful. Stay away from the tacky resorts and head for one of the quieter (but still lively) resorts on the islands. Or how about Turkey? Italy is expensive to get too but fab when you get there; the Canaries and Cyprus are expensive when you get there so be wary. The Balearics again are cheap and cheerful but be mindful of the weather. Even better, why not get yourself an interrail ticket and go explore! We did Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Paris, Venice, Rome, Budapest, East and West Germany, Belgium, Poland and Spain in a month - it cost us 1000 all in with spending money! And yes, we did pools and beach - the Cinque Terra in Italy and the Turkish Baths in Budapest! Loads of clubbing as well in all the top European clubs! Just pack some comfy shoes...what fab memories!
