Ready Tent Campsites

We would like to give camping a go but would like to try it before buying all the equipment! now i know you can go to france and hire a ready tent for a week with evrything set up for you...... But does anyone know of any campsites in Dorset/ Devon area or just in England that do this sort of thing to??
