I found this site which has some interesting brochures to give you some ideas (not neceassarily to book with though if you don't want to get your own flights as they are a Sri Lankan company) You'll see elephants & monkeys galore there.

Also Borneo is wonderful - I've been twice - to Sabah & to Sarawak. Sabah has a fantastic Orang Utan sanctuary & you can also stay at the Rasa Ria Hotel where they have their own orang utan reserve. Sabah also has elephants - smaller than African or Indian ones. They are found along the Kanabatangan river - which is also a marvellous place to see other wildlife, birds, probiscus monkeys etc. Lots of companies do wildlife tours to Sabah & you can do beach/tour mixtures. I'm going back again this year. Just google Sabah for more info.
