I'm going to be booking a holiday in Morocco, so I've been looking into travel insurance but I am unsure to weather Morocco is classed as though it is in Europe when taking out insurance. Could anyone advise me? Thanks

Most insurance companies class any country with a Mediterranean coast as Europe

Sample list here:
http://www.optionsinsurance.co.uk/multi/countr ies.asp
Couldn't get that link to work but here is a quote from 1Stop Travel:

"The continent of Europe west of the Ural Mountains, Madiera, Canary Islands, Iceland, the Azores, Mediterranean Islands and non European countries bordering the Mediterranean excluding Algeria, Isreal, Lebanon and Libya"

So yes, Morocco is classed as Europe.
Why not ask the insurer? When you get your quote they will ask you where you are travelling to anyway.
Morocco is in Europe so use that when you take out insurance. I'm sure the insurance company would check that anyway (we hope)! Have you already got your travel insurance?

If not I can recommend Travel Insurance Web - http://www.travelinsuranceweb.com/ - Cheapest I have found with great cover and they have a price promise incase you find something cheaper or that exceeds them.

Hope that helps.
