Pet rodents

The other day I saw these little rodents called Degus in a pet shop in Wanstead. They were so cute I almost bought two on the spot. Now I wish I had, but I live in Balham, and don't want to have to transport the little critters on a smelly tube over such a distance. Where in south London can I get these or other little rodents as pets. Can someone recommend a good pet shop in the area please.

Not sure of rodent quality (!) but there is a pet shop in the Arndale Centre in Wandsworth Town. Also one at Richmond (turn left out ofthe station, about 100 yds)
